Our Origin

Chase's Story

The Day That Changed Everything

On March 30, 2013 — Chase suffered an anoxic brain injury caused by a near drowning accident in a pool while on vacation. He was non-responsive and without oxygen or a heartbeat for several minutes. It is truly a miracle that he is here with us today. Thanks to some truly selfless and quick reactions from strangers poolside, a vast number of incredible medical professionals, and the Lord's hand, he has been given a second chance at life.

The Fight for Recovery

Chase spent 11 days in the PICU at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Florida. His MRI results were not promising and showed extensive brain damage caused by the lack of oxygen. Doctors advised us that Chase's condition would likely not improve and that he might grow up living in a hospital. Once stabilized, Chase was able to return to Minnesota, where he spent four months working tirelessly in therapy at Gillette Children's Hospital in St. Paul, becoming healthier and stronger every day.

Strength, Support & A New Mission

Overcoming almost impossible odds, Chase was eventually cleared to return home and continue his recovery surrounded by his siblings — Ava, who was 8 at the time, Tanner, who was 10 — and his puppy Carly. Although Chase still faces a long and challenging recovery journey, we are incredibly grateful to walk this path with him. Chase is strong-willed, determined, and full of resilience. Throughout this journey, we received an overwhelming amount of support from friends, family, and even complete strangers. Witnessing this kindness inspired us to give back, which is why we created Chase's Warrior Foundation.

Who We Are

Our Mission

Chase’s Warrior Foundation is a group of community-based volunteers whose mission is to help children and their families who are affected by altered physical conditions and/or have special needs by providing support, thereby enhancing the quality of their lives at home, as well as at schools.

Our Vision

Creating joyful moments for children with special needs while supporting families and embracing the belief to let kids simply be kids.

Our Mission

Serving families through meaningful support, providing resources and assistance that help children with special needs live fuller, happier lives.

Our Values

Building community impact through support, education, and adaptive resources while empowering children with special needs and their families every day.

What We Provide

Restoring Hope with Adaptive Equipment

Donations to Chase’s Warrior Foundation are used to provide families with adaptive and therapeutic equipment that help improve their everyday lives. Since insurance doesn’t typically cover adaptive equipment, families struggle to afford the high costs — that’s where we step in.

GoTo Seat

Lightweight and portable, this seat provides postural support and is great for use at home or on the go.

UpSee

This mobility device allows children with disabilities to stand and walk with the help of an adult.

Adaptive Bike

Securely strapped into a harness, individuals with disabilities can enjoy the outdoors as they’re pushed along in this tricycle.
